My name is Marie, the metalsmith behind Silver Raven Studio. My love for jewelry began long before I ever picked up a torch. I have been a lifelong collector of vintage, Southwestern, and artisan made jewelry, a passion rooted in my early teens through a tradition my mother began. Jewelry, to me, has always been more than adornment. It is memory, material, and meaning - intended to be worn, lived in, and passed down.
Jewelry Built with Intention
In 2002, I formally learned metalsmithing and began working in the jewelry industry. Not long after, my career expanded into design and construction, where I spent years managing new builds, reconstructions, and renovations. Though the medium changed, the foundation of my work remained the same: a disciplined focus on structure, quality, and longevity.
Throughout those years, I continued collecting, studying, and quietly honing my craft, always drawn back to the art of adornment. The disciplines of construction and design reinforced what I had always known. How something is built determines how well it lasts. Whether it is a home or a piece of handcrafted jewelry, materials, integrity, and process matter.
Foundation of Silver Raven Studio
In 2014, I returned fully to my first love, jewelry, and launched Silver Raven Studio, bringing an architectural mindset into every piece I create. My work is grounded in traditional metalsmithing techniques and shaped by a modern, intentional approach to design.
Each piece is handcrafted in sterling silver, often incorporating carefully sourced gemstones, with an emphasis on balance, strength, and wearability. These are pieces designed to become part of everyday life rather than exist only for special occasions.

My work is inspired by Earth’s elements and the natural beauty found in raw materials. Crafted entirely by hand in my studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques, each piece begins with careful attention to material, structure, and process.
I’m drawn to organic textures, natural stones, and the quiet strength found in the elements themselves. These influences guide not only the designs, but the way each piece is built. The goal is jewelry that feels intentional, well constructed, and made to be worn often and enjoyed over time.
